Black Crow Photography: July 2010
My photo
I started doing photography back in the day using film! I will always have that one special place in my heart for the film, but the rest of my heart goes to the digital side. I love catching the candid shots, they are so real and simple, and shows real personality. Follow along as I learn this new world that I am entering, and have so much to learn from... I love shooting natural light shots (Outside). And if you have a place that you would like to have your photo shoot I will be more then happy to accommodate. My new thing is coming to your home and shooting the family in the Master Bed room. It gives the portrait such a family closeness I think you'll really love! Contact me if you would like to schedule a shoot.

Talent of a Photographer

You may think that a photographer just points and shoots and WAA-LAA... there is a beautiful photograph ready to be printed! I don't believe in such a thing. Every photograph is edited in some way or form. I will show an example of a shot that was just plain Jane, vs. an edited photo.

Photobucket

In this picture you can see the colors popping... I worked on the colors in the background, the truck, and her eyes. I lighted the picture so that you could see her. I softened the skin and cleaned it up a bit.

Each picture a photographer works on spends a minimum of 20-30 minutes. If you have 10 photos to choose from well figure out the math, a lot of hours just in editing photo's. I posted this just so you know what goes behind a photographers prices and hopefully you can choose the right one for you.
